Well, Skipper, I always pictured the retreat in a mountain fastness somewhere, but an island could be good...and I make a FABULOUS coconut cream pie...

well, this may be a bit of a strange post, so brace yourself.
lol!.
do you think you would enjoy living on a modern day version of gilligan's island with a few good friends?

what classical music do you enjoy and why?
can you please state whether in/out jw's?
LOL you askin a redneck cracker what classical music she likes? Harhar..."I don't know from art but I know what I like" and doncha HATE when us goobers say that?
Here's some of what I like:
anything Mozart
Orff: Carmina Burana
most JS Bach
Rach #3 (Helfgott's recording is nice)
Ravel's Bolero when played by Frank Zappa's road band (a genuine hoot)
I like the tinkly romantic syrupy stuff like 'l'apres-midi de l'un faun' (isn't that Debussy?)
Grieg: Peer Gynt Suite is a fave
a lot of classical music gives me a pain in my fundament. Of course a lot of music from all genres does that to me. As Sturgeon's Law notes, '90% of everything is crap' (although I maintain he underestimated). In this as in so much of life, one must sift through tons of dross to find the gold.
I really like Charlotte Church, she is an amazing child and her style is maturing without all the ego that so many talented singers inject into their work. Although most opera leaves me cold, some of the arias she performs are just stunning.
Now when you gonna ask about country music, or western music, or folk, or psychedelic rock, or bluegrass, or klezmer, or gospel, or swing...?
Love as per usual,
Mommie D.
I dunno Lisa, we managed some pretty good sex during my pregnancy with Little D. It takes a little patience and imagination but there are some nice positions that work real well around a big belly.
That experimentation helped a lot after my hip/leg problems got bad; crip sex has to be as inventive as preggers sex but we already had the moves worked out so it was no prob to find the best ways to get close without hurting something.
Tell hubby that lots of massage might turn you on. Even if it doesn't you might get a couple good massages before he figures it out.
Love and good luck incubating your bun,

a jw on another site posted this today:.
the verdict is in!
almost all of the anti-jehovah's witness organization have been completely quiet about the arrest and detention of the person in denmark who posted on the "yourselves and to all of the flock", and the society's other secret documents, in violation of international copyright laws.
As usual, all hot air, no factual content.
This sounds to me like a lot of whistling past the graveyard. Jdubbies are so smegging scared of feelthy demonic apostate talk that they gotta stick their fingers in their ears and scream 'Lalalalalala' to each other trying to drown out those pesky facts.
Damn Kent aren't you insulted? That's twice in one week some goober said you're Danish! Hey I wonder it it's the same clueless Jdub?
hi folks, today i grabbed my favorite weekly newspaper, citypages to read over lunch.
the cover story is about a self-help seminar offered by a group called vistar.
as i started to read, i realized this was very similar (in fact everything was the same except the name of the group!
How interesting that you post this today. I'm reading Steve Hassan's newest book; his description of these 'self-actualization' seminars as mind control agencies sure fits with this article.
Amazing how these groups can get people to PAY big $$$ to be told what and how to think! Geez Harmony, think we're in the wrong biz?
Always givin' it away for free,

'onionhead with ladybug on keyboard'
does anyone remember seeing steve allens pbs series - meeting of minds?
he brought in actors to play various characters from history all sitting down together to discuss a topic.
people like martin luther, voltaire, marie antonette etc.
I suggest you try the Signals catalog; they sell PBS-related stuff and I think I saw this series listed at one time.
Let us know if you find it. I don't get the catalog any more so I don't know what's current.
i think everyone is missing the point by trying to argue for and against the wtbts using words and "logical argument".
clearly, god did not want the truth to be obvious and, scripturally, it is apparent that it would not be.
jesus said that only "a few" would find the truth in these last days.
Thank you Julien for saying exactly what I wanted to say:
what absolute, utter BULLSHIT!!!
I can't believe people can continue to spout drivel like this in the face of the mountains of evidence proving JWdom is a scam designed to control the lives and wallets of people too scared to face reality.
my daughter just called me and said to look up at the sky to the left of the moon.
there were two huge red glowing areas in the sky.
the weather is clear with no clouds.
You should be able to see the auroral displays tonight and tomorrow night too, NASA spaceweather says folks in middle latitides should get a show too.
Watch the skies!
why won't you let me help you?
you have been deceived!!!
it's not too late.
I love you too naeblis...
how do you feel about travelling by air since the events of sept 11?.
have these occurences just made you uneasy, or were they enough to put a stop to flying altogether?.
i told some of my pub buddies that i would ask this question, the news media have indicated that most americans are refusing to travel anywhere by plane at present.. englishman.. nostalgia isn't what it used to be....
Well, your odds of being killed in traffic are still way higher than your risk in flying, so wotthe'ell, right?
